SINUS AcoustiTube
The AcoustiTube works according to the principle of the Kundt’s tube, in which a material sample is applied.
The AcoustiTube is based on the transfer function method described in the ISO 10534-2 standard.
Applications
Applications SINUS AcoustiTube
Determination of sound absorption, reflection coefficients and impedance ratio of material samples. Acoustic material properties can be determined according to different methods: Practical measurements "from the hand" with the Microflown In-situ Absorption method: With the Microflown probe the acoustic particle speed can be measured directly without the need for 2 traditional microphones. Laboratory measurements of “test samples” using the Kundt's method: A test sample is placed in an impedance tube in which a sound wave is generated. The acoustic material parameters can be determined on the basis of 2 microphones that measure the incident and reflected sound.Request a Quote
