What a fantastic start to 2024, that Akron has been selected as the main supplier for the sound meters for the beautiful Flemish project “The Cause”.
The decisive factor was the quality of our affordable and scalable sound monitoring systems and the associated platform, with support for all important sound parameters and sound recognition.
In the coming year, the quality of the sound environment will be measured (real time) at no fewer than 2,400 locations in Antwerp, Ghent and Leuven.
You will discover what the noise pollution is, which sounds we hear every day, where they sound loudest, which are experienced as most annoying and what their impact is on our health.
